The written GCSE exams are scheduled to begin on Thursday 7th May 2026 and conclude on 16th June.
The JCQ contingency date is designated in the event of national or significant local
disruption to examinations in the UK
Wednesday 24th June 2026 -All DAY
We must remind candidates that they must remain available until Wednesday 24th June 2026 should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.

Results Day
GCSE Results Day will take place on Thursday 20th August 2026.
Pupils may collect their results from the main hall between 9:30am and 12:00pm.
Senior staff will be available to provide support and guidance, including:
- Results checking
- Information on post-16 options
- Advice on remarking and appeals
